The Baltimore County Delta Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational or scientific purposes as specified in section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The purpose of the Foundation is to support public service and community outreach in the areas of economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health and social service programs for women, children, families and the elderly in Baltimore County. The Foundation also awards scholarships to students beyond high school.

The Baltimore County Delta Foundation is also committed to providing financial support to organizations providing public service in education, economic awareness, physical/ mental health and social services for women, children, families and the elderly.
An overarching goal of the Foundation is to secure a facility within Baltimore County for the delivery of social, cultural, educational and recreational activities for residents of Baltimore County. This facility will serve as headquarters for the Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter (BCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The Purpose of the Foundation is to:

Support public service and community outreach in the areas of economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health and social service programs for women, children, families and the elderly in Baltimore County;

Administer scholarships to students beyond high school;

Provide financial support to other organizations that provide public service in the areas of education, economic awareness, physical and mental health and social services for women, children, families and the elderly;

Organize, lease, secure, build or create a facility which would provide space in which to offer social, cultural, educational and recreational activities for children and adults, and to serve as the headquarters for the Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter (BCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (hereinafter “BCAC”); and

Engage in any lawful act or activities to carry on any business in accordance with the Foundation’s non-profit purpose not forbidden by the laws of the State of Maryland and with all the powers conferred by the State of Maryland.
